What is Cryptomining?

In order to earn cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, cryptominers complete “blocks” of verified transactions that are added to the Bitcoin blockchain digital ledger. Bitcoin is the reward for completing this action. In order to mine Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, miners need to utilize vast amounts of computer processing power. Some cryptominers use malicious tools to take over websites and web apps in order to use their processing power to mine cryptocurrency for them.
